DO NOT Watch Transformers!
The original and still the best!
I wouldn’t usually use this site for my own private end, but I have to advise all readers of Vansdirectnews.com and all the customers of Vansdirect.co.uk not to watch the new Transformers movie. If you value your time, sanity, humour and money - do not go. It’s not suitable for children and it’s certainly not suitable for an adult with a reasonable level of intelligence.
The plot is thin to say the least. When it does materialise all true fans of the comic books and the original 1986 movie will realise that it’s been rewritten and badly. All the jokes and comic references are vulgar, gratuitous and racist. The action sequences are merely a blur of colourful fake metals and any sense of emotion achieved by Orson Welles, Leonard Nimoy, Robert Stack and Eric Idle in the 1986 classic is lost. Even the death of the beloved Optimus Prime is a fleeting moment of - “Oh what the hell. Never mind.”
So, do not go and see this film. Buy the original on DVD.
