Sat-Nav for your Van!
ProNav has recently launched a Sat-Nav solution specifically targeted to the van driver and HGV driver market. The unit, very much like a Tom-Tom One includes dynamic routing and navigation that takes account of your van’s dimensions!
However, this isn’t a generic van product. The ProNav will allow the user to set the van’s measurements and load (weight and type) and all the information is used in calculating the optimal route. This means no more trying to get your transit down a single lane track meant solely for 4×4s and the village tractor!
The software is so advanced that it will even consider the weight restrictions of bridges and other crossing types. The unit will also warn drivers of impending issues including cross winds, grounding zones and steep hills! Never again need you drive your van in fear.
The unit, which comes complete with maps for the UK and RoI, includes a postcode & point of interest lookup facility. The software will even point you in the direction of a cafe serving breakfast for under a £5′er! Also in the box is a six month free trial of their safety camera alert system.
But it’s not only for your van. Beacuse of it’s setup features, you can easily transfer the unit from your van to your car. A van solution for every solution!
